Terms of Use

Last updated: June 4, 2026

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of curiosityharbor.org and its features (the “Site”), operated by Curiosity Harbor LLC, a Utah limited liability company (“Curiosity Harbor,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

Who may use the Site

You must be at least 18 years old to submit forms or use the assistant. The Site is intended for parents, guardians, educators, and other adults; it is not directed to children under 13. Minors may use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

What we provide — information, not advice

Curiosity Harbor is a free educational resource hub. The content on the Site — including state-by-state homeschool requirements, the grant and funding directory, resources, and answers from the “Ask Curiosity Harbor” assistant — is general information only. It is not legal, financial, tax, or educational advice, and it is not a substitute for professional guidance or the official rules that apply where you live. Laws and programs change and vary by state; always verify current requirements with your state's official source before making decisions.

We do not award or administer grants

Curiosity Harbor does not award, administer, fund, or guarantee any grant, scholarship, Education Savings Account, or other funding program. Our directory and assistant are informational tools to help you find programs that others operate. Eligibility, amounts, deadlines, and decisions are determined solely by each program's sponsor, and you apply directly with them.

The assistant

The “Ask Curiosity Harbor” assistant uses automated AI to generate answers from our database. Its responses may be incomplete, out of date, or incorrect, and may not reflect your specific situation. Do not rely on the assistant as your sole source of information, and do not submit sensitive personal information to it. Your use of the assistant is at your own discretion and risk.
